Position: Logistics Allocation Manager
Company: A warehousing company that is a highly trusted supply chain service provider, servicing manufacturers of wholesalers of consumer products being sourced and distributed to markets globally is looking for a Logistics Allocation Manager.
Job Description
The Logistics Allocation Manager will be responsible for managing a dynamic growing business of consumer products brands working with multiple retailers, our owned distribution center and multiple 3PL’s. The ideal candidate will be the key liaison between the salespeople and the warehouse managing the workflow process for routing allocation, returns, shipping and routing.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively managing the order book fulfillment process, ensuring order releases are accurate, timely and delivered according to customer requirements
- Monitoring allocation delays and risks related to order deliveries for your assigned accounts
- Creating Ad hoc reports for stakeholders as required
- Maintain and monitor open orders to ensure they are all shipped within the required ship window.
- Develop an understanding of customer's requirements and take actions to ensure that such requirements are met.
- Monitor WIP and in transit production to forecast any potential delivery problems.
- Communicate with 3PL provider to ensure timely and accurate shipments to our customers.
- Must be able to manage warehouse VAS. This would include ticketing, repacks, and pick/pack projects.
- Create routing requests using retailer forms and TMS websites.
- Ability to communicate with customers
- Ability to communicate with Sales & Production teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Allocation/ Logistics role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills ? Detail oriented, with strong organizational capabilities.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment ? Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and divisions.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems, AS 400 a plus.
- Strong Excel skills well versed in V-look Up, X - look up, Pivot tables, etc.
