SNI Companies is working with a healthcare organization based in Mercer County, NJ who is seeking a
Patient Accounts Biller. This is
ON-SITE ONLY!!
Hours: Monday-Friday – either 7:30-4 or 8-4:30.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities - Perform hospital billing, follow-up, administrative support, and customer service
- Reviews appropriate documents to prepare bills to carriers.
- Gathers and communicates information from third party payers and patients to expedite payment on outstanding accounts.
- Stays current with the latest updates for third party, collection, and bad-debt regulations by reading bulletins and other memoranda.
- Sets goals to resolve any outstanding issues with third party representatives.
- Evaluates, reviews, and analyzes patient accounts to determine if correct third party payments have been received and recorded.
- Prioritizes and updates files and other required documentation in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned and adapts to changing departmental demands.
Requirements - At least 1 year of hospital billing experience
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new computer software
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
