Payroll Administrator/Human Resources
Functions:
Process biweekly payrolls
Contact various supervisors for missed timekeeping
Ensure payroll is maintained and submitted accurately for the site
Create and maintain payroll reports
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for CFO
Maintain HR files
Administer and explain health benefits to employees
Communicate with health benefits broker and insurance carriers
Review electronic data for completeness and accuracy
Employee contact for payroll related issues and HR questions
Handle employment applications and process new hires
Work with managers and make appropriate judgments to resolve any employee issues
Respond to reference checks and employment verifications
Process NJ disability and unemployment claims
Monitor payroll data such as garnishments and insurance deductions
Other special projects as needed
Qualifications/Experience:*
College degree
Minimum 3 years payroll and human resources experience
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Must be able to multi-task and work independently with little or no direction
Ability to maintain confidentiality
ADP Workforce Now a must
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
