The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Drive flawless contract review, negotiation, execution, and management process by leading and overseeing the overall workflow to negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts RFP and RFI, POC, performance and risk management.
• Coordination of overall workflow, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and providing feedback, partnering with legal, compliance, risk, and insurance to ensure a high level of service, risk mitigation, high quality end products & services.
• Contract Management (contract generation, negotiation, signature, loading and performance tracking) and SSP supplier governance (commercial contracting and pricing governance). The SSP Contract Specialist works in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to assemble offerings (products, pricing, solutions, and T&Cs) for the customer while still supporting the objectives and strategies of the business.
• Responsibilities includes coordination of terms and conditions options and changes, identifying potential gaps, ensuring contracts are aligned to strategy, customer negotiations, sharing preferred practices, and recommending solutions to improve customer experience
• This individual is also responsible for leading various contract templates to support the business and will support terms and conditions redlines for commercial contracts across company.
• Proactively identifies areas of disconnect / backup and assist with recommended solutions within SSP to ensure best practice sharing / skill development across the supplier agreement workflow while ensuring objectives of the business unit are met.
• Enforce Company Signatory Authority Policy and Procedures
• Maintain contract database and run analytics on an as-requested basis
• Guide stakeholders on the contract processes and procedures
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in law, business management or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
• Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment, utilizing effective organizational skills to prioritize and manage deadlines for multiple stakeholders
• Team-player with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional role
• Excellent judgment, discretion, interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
Term:
• 6months Temp to Perm position
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. that includes 30-minute lunch
Work Location:
• Hybrid. Two days in the office, Tuesday and Wednesday and the rest from home.
• Laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset. Candidate is required to have a good internet connection.
