SNI Companies is seeking a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant on a remote hybrid basis in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics 3 to 5 years of accounting operations, GAAP accounting, or bookkeeping.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Prepare financial statements, trial balances, statements of cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, forecasting, expense reporting, 1099 maintenance, inventory management, etc.
- Prepare journal entries, month-end close, year-end close, account reconciliations, P&L, balance sheet preparation, etc.
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balance, assess internal controls and risk assessments, financial audit preparation, etc.
- Serve as backup to accounting clerks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Preferred Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of Accounting Operations experience – staff accounting, corporate accounting, property accounting, fixed asset accounting, cost accounting, JIB accounting, tax accounting, project accounting, forensic accounting, financial accounting, managerial accounting, etc.
- Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, Sage, NetSuite, Great Plains, Dynamics, Viewpoint, Xero, QuickBooks, or MS Excel
This position pays up to $65,000 annually and will report directly to the Director of Finance as well as other interdepartmental management, supervisors, and staff.
