Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client to hire a full-time Escrow Officer working with our client in Houston, TX. The position would be responsible for managing the escrow team as well as overseeing duties related to the home closing process
Principle Duties:
Escrow Management: Oversee the escrow process from start to finish, including preparing Closing Disclosures and ATLA Settlement Statements according to CFPB/TRID and RESPA guidelines.
Document Review: Thoroughly review and manage documents such as surveys, sale contracts, preliminary title reports, and loan documents.
Pipeline and Title Coordination: Open pipeline files promptly, order necessary documents, and collaborate with the title department to address and clear title defects.
Closing and Funding: Prepare and verify closing documents, manage the disbursement of funds, and handle recordable documents and title policy preparation.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position starts at $35.00 an hour. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Escrow Officer, ideally in a residential builder environment
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in a fast-paced setting with a high volume of work
- Title software experience using SoftPro is a plus
- Active Notary Public certification
- Title or Escrow License preferred, if required by the state.
