Full Charge Bookkeeper
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the entire accounting cycle, from data entry to financial reporting. This role requires a hands-on, self-motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, especially in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and capable of supporting leadership with accurate, timely financial information to help drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the general ledger and oversee all day-to-day accounting activities.

Handle all accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, vendor payments, and collections.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts monthly.

Manage payroll processing, including benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions (through payroll provider).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.

Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and relevant tax laws.

Work with external CPA for annual tax return preparation and year-end close.

Provide financial support for audits, as needed.

File sales tax and other state/local tax filings.

Analyze cost of goods sold and assist with inventory and cost accounting.

Assist leadership with special projects and financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Experience with inventory management and cost accounting is a plus.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
