Property Accountant

SNI Companies is seeking a Property Accountant or Staff Accountant on a remote hybrid basis in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will be available 4 days every month for on-site collaboration and month-end close procedures, and possess 3-5 years of general ledger and journal entry preparation experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger maintenance through journal entry preparation, P&L statement creation, fixed asset processing and depreciation schedules, aging reports, accruals, etc.
• Manage and oversee properties relating to hotels, concerts, gift shops, events, retail location, etc.
• Review payroll and accounts payable items, perform weekly financial reporting and month-end close procedures
• Maintain inventory schedules, transactional accounting procedures, and report directly to the Accounting Manager
• Utilize various accounting system such as SAP and MS Excel for ad hoc reporting, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of accounting operations experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities

This job is mostly remote and available to candidates who can report on-site in Colorado Springs for a maximum of 4 days out of the month. This position offers full benefits including dental, vision, healthcare, 401k matching, PTO, etc.
