STEEL TRADER/EXPORT ANALYST
Job Title: Steel Trader / Export Analyst
Reports To: Pipe and Steel Sales Manager
Location: Medley, Doral
Type: Full-Time
About Us: I'm currently working with a company leading player in the steel industry, committed to excellence and innovation. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Steel Trader / Export Analyst to join our team and contribute to our growth.
Provide a high level of attention to detail when monitoring and maintaining computerized records related to purchasing activities. Verifies prices. Responds to inquiries from other departments and resolves problems that may arise. Assists in performance of any duties requested.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare Sales Quotes to Customers (Daily) – 60%
- Generate accurate and timely sales quotes based on customer requirements.
- Ensure quotes are competitive and align with company pricing strategies.

Customer Follow-Up on Quotes (Daily) – 20%
- Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their quotes.
- Address inquiries and provide additional information as needed.

Purchasing Material (Daily) – 15%
- Source and purchase steel materials from suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement and manage supplier relationships effectively.

Market Analysis (Daily) – 5%
- Conduct daily market analysis to stay informed on industry trends and pricing.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market data.

Logistics Coordination (Daily) – 5%
- Coordinate logistics for the transportation and delivery of steel products.
- Ensure smooth and efficient logistical operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in steel trading, export analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of steel market dynamics and global trade.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
