The Accounting Assistant will play a critical role in the day to day workings of the Billing Department of Global Software firm.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and partners both in the US and in Europe.
- One to two years of billing experience or recent college graduate with excellent communication skills and advanced google/excel knowledge.

Experience with Google sheets and Excel a must
QuickBooks online or Salesforce a plus
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Set up new accounts as requested by service desks.
- Maintain billing inbox by utilizing labels/color and folders to efficiently organize emails and respond to internal requests in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain customers' billing information. Issue weekly AR aging reports and document collection efforts for all past due and delinquent accounts.
- Follow up with the customer success team and other responsible groups on their collection efforts and accounts conversion status.
- Issue invoices requested by SalesOps, ensure that quotes and invoices match terms and prices.
- Issue credit memos as requested by the customer success team.
- Send payment reminders and collection emails daily. Make phone calls as needed in order to resolve collection issues.
- Assist senior accountant and controller with expense reports, corporate credit card program and other tasks associated with accounting close process.
- One to two years of billing experience or recent college graduate with excellent communication skills and advanced google/excel knowledge.
