Bookkeeper/Accounts Payables
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with various departments to provide timely and accurate financial information.
Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including debits and credits.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Utilize financial software to track expenses, generate reports, and assist in budgeting processes.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms as needed for audits or financial reviews.
- Support the development of budgets by providing historical data and forecasts.
Experience
- Proficiency in debits and credits, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
- Previous experience in bank reconciliation processes is essential
- Knowledge of various financial software applications to manage accounting tasks effectively
- Strong skills in journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, and accounts payable management are highly desirable
