Global Pharmaceutical Company in Princeton, New Jersey seeks Accounting Assistant for a temp to hire opportunity.
Job Specifics

  • Accounts payable and manage all invoice process from/to Vendors and Vendor managers of each department,
  • Entering data into accounting system,
  • Checking expense reports details,
  • Cash Management System operation support,
  • Responding government surveys through the year,
  • Conducting Fixed Assets physical count and
  • Other accounting assistance


FUNCTION:

  • Gathers Invoices for invoice approval processing. Invoice processing includes:
    • Gathering invoices and maintenance thereof;
    • Reviewing supporting documents for consultant invoices
    • Sending and monitoring approval requests through electronic systems.
  • Maintains and updates the Approvers List, listing each vendor and the manager/s responsible for reviewing and approving invoices
  • Enters approved Invoice information into accounting system (currently Great Plains), indicates the general ledger account code, contract ID, and the approvers' names.
  • Prints and distributes Accounts Payables checks on a weekly basis
  • Establishes, develops, maintains and updates Accounts Payable files. Retrieves information from files when needed
  • Supports Quick Base maintenance as needed
  • General clerical assistance to Accounting Department
  • Prepares presentations, special reports, memos, and word processing; composing letters and routine correspondence, and researching information
  • Checks expense reports details
  • Supports Cash Management System operation
  • Responds government surveys through the year
  • Conduct Fixed Assets Physical count every two years


Education - Bachelors' Degree or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
Experience - A minimum of 5 years in a related field and a corporate environment
Technical Skills - Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
