Summary: Based in St. Petersburg, FL the AP Coordinator is responsible for accounts payable invoice coding, data entry, check processing, employee expense reports, filing and various general accounting assignments This position interacts with employees and vendors.

Reports to: Assistant Controller in the Accounting Dept.


  • New Vendor setup including collection of proper tax forms (W9,W8, Form 8233)
  • Ensure invoices are in accordance with pricing and terms of executed contracts
  • Obtain proper approval for all company expenditures before processing invoices
  • Post invoices into the accounting system.
  • Generate accounts payable checks and wires
  • Research vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies
  • File paid and unpaid invoices and statements
  • Purchasing Card
  • Process check requests, ensuring appropriate approvals have been received.
  • Process employee and independent contractor expense reports in accordance with company policy
  • Back up to others in the accounting dept.

Desired Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in expense reporting and invoice processing in accounting.
  • Accounting or Business Degree
  • Experience with Concur Expense Reporting and Sage 100 system
  • Experience working with Foreign Currencies
