AP Coordinator

This position is part of our Accounts Payable Team at our corporate location, reporting to our Accounts Payable Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual that enjoys a fast-paced environment, has the ability to multi-task and trouble-shoot, navigate change well and maintain a positive attitude.


  • High volume invoice processing via Captiva OCR Software
  • Data validation for accuracy and compliance with company policies & procedures
  • AP issue resolution/customer service for assigned communities
  • Troubleshooting process flow issues
  • Ad hoc projects as requested


  • High-level customer service skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Positive outlook and calm demeanor, with a focus on teamwork
  • Critical thinking skills and common sense, a must
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, essential
  • Technology-minded, enjoys learning new systems - troubleshooting, process analysis


  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years' experience in Accounts Payable preferred
  • Solid PC skills which include proficiency in office applications such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook as well as demonstrated experience working with an accounting software package
  • Captiva/Workday experience a plus
