Job Description

The Bookkeeping / Administrative Assistant Position is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions along with the day to day office work activity. The incumbent is considered the point of contact for all bookkeeping issues and must have the ability to organize and coordinate the work efficiently, set priorities, and be a self-motivator and team member. The incumbent must pay close attention to details as well as, determine root causes of processes breakdown and take corrective action.


B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities require the following:
1. Bookkeeping Knowledge Skills:
? Working knowledge of QuickBooks Premier 2007
? Account Receivables / Payable
? Job Costing / Scheduling
? Ability to read and understand legal contracts
? AIA Forms / Certified Payroll
? Union - Prevailing Wage
2. Office Management:
? Working knowledge of office processes
? Handling insurance claims
? Sorting / Distribution of mail
? Coordination / Scheduling Field Technicians and Office Meetings
? Maintain personnel binders
? Prepare monthly Union benefits
? Entering Testing and Balancing Report (TAB) information
? Understanding mechanical drawings
