Job Description


Our client, a Prominent Company located in Downtown Fort Worth, has an immediate need for a Bookkeeper with Administrative Office Skills! Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements as well as administrative support when needed. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
  • Prepare state and local tax returns including income, franchise and miscellaneous licenses.
  • Prepare computer-generated tax reference work papers
  • Organize and cross-reference work papers
  • Prepare detailed bi-weekly time reports
  • Property Tax research and miscellaneous projects
  • Ability to report to work as scheduled
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Administrative duties including, travel arrangements, calendar management, presentations, ad-hoc reports, etc.
  • Proficiency in Quicken, Microsoft Windows; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook



Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping or general ledger accounting knowledge or experience is preferable.
  • Real Estate accounting experience is preferred.
  • Real Estate, Property and State Income Tax experience is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Candidate must be able to work with and have an aptitude for computers.
