Job Description

The bookkeeper's primary duties are as follow:

  • Billing

  • Oversight of billing and related corrections and adjustments

  • Accounts Receivable Management

  • Collections - Follow up on delinquent accounts receivable

  • Oversight of HR and Payroll

  • Oversight
  • Assure personnel files are in order
  • Assure documents are obtained for all new employees and are on file for all existing employees

  • Financial and Cash Forecasting
  • With Assistant Controller perform monthly financial closing

  • Maintain Cash and other account reconciliations
  • Monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Financial analysis as needed
  • Maintain and balance intercompany accounts.

  • Ensure that accounts payable are entered and paid in a timely manner for all companies
  • Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
  • Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Other duties from time to time assigned by the Controller or assistant controller
  • Requirements:

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Quickbooks
    • Excel
