Job Description

We are hiring for an exciting opportunity in Andover, MA for a Senior Business Analyst with strong insurance experience. This is a leadership role ensuring that business, organizational and system requirements are planned for, analyzed, validated, documented, tested and reviewed.
Essential Functions:

  • Participate in project planning to ensure project is understood and that adequate resources are assigned.
  • Lead and mentor Junior Business Analysts
  • Develop and maintain business process models, system requirements models, use case flow maps, functional hierarchy and architectural diagrams to establish standards.
  • Analyze customer requests for changes to existing requirements and for new requirements
  • Manage requirements review process
  • Work with IT staff to accurately translate requirements into system features and functionality, including a test approach and plan.
  • Create and execute test scripts, provide training to end users, and respond to routine production support requests and training needs.
  • Create and administer reports using a variety of reporting and data analytics tools.
  • Support day-to-day business operations, business applications, and supporting technologies, including reporting tools and data governance.
  • Establish a change management process for requirements change requests
  • Establish/manage a mechanism to trace requirements to test cases

Technical skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience preferably in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of the lifecycle process
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Working knowledge, or ability to quickly learn BA tools such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, TestRail, Quality Center, JIRA
