Job Description


Our Haverhill client is in need of an International Shipping Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Counts all company products and supplies.
* Analyzes sales records and compares them to physical inventory.
* Reports any discrepancies to manager or customer consignment location owner.
* Maintains cleanliness and organization of the stockroom.
* Maintains a reorder report, biweekly, for all low-stock inventory.
* Locates and removes expired or defective merchandise from known good stock.
* Packs up defective items for return, creates shipping labels, and ships items.
* Works with manager to brainstorm ways to reduce inventory discrepancy.
* Uses computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data.
* Retrieves items from the stockroom for customers and sales associates.
* Unloads deliveries and stores them appropriately in the stockroom.
* Replenishes stock as required.
* Adjusts inventory reports to account for new deliveries.
* Ships product as required with sales orders and ensures any "short" shipped items are delivered and monitored for completion.
* Ensures that all stock is organized, properly stored, and in good condition.
* Assists in cleaning the inventory and warehouse area.
* Thoroughly tracks all freight shipments to/from Seica offices.
* Occasional facility maintenance, as needed (such as, but not limited to, mowing the lawn with company provided electric lawn mower, light snow blowing/shoveling of walkways, salting/sanding walkways during winter months and monitoring dumpster for illegal dumping of hazardous, unapproved articles).
* Crates/uncrates large freight (particularly Seica equipment).

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Demonstrates proficiency in the use of inventory software.
* Possesses specific knowledge of company's range of products and services.
* Exhibits ability to interpret and explain inventory and sales reports.
* Possesses physical strength necessary to unload and restock supplies.
* Pays close attention to details.
* Experience using forklift and pallet jack.
* Have ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
* Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
* Exhibits ability to think creatively in order to devise best inventory control practices.
* Ensures what is communicated to the customer in regards to sensitive topics
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Must work well with a team.
* Ensures training is conducted for forklift operations for all pertinent employees.

Education and Experience
* Work experience in retail and/or inventory control is strongly preferred.
* Previous domestic/international shipment knowledge required.

Work Environment
* Working hours will be spent in the stockroom and warehouse floor, tracking and organizing inventory.
* Time will also be spent in the office, processing paperwork.
* Physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy boxes of supplies may be required on a regular basis.
* Has the ability to use both a standing and drivable forklift.
