Job Description Administrative Assistant/ Paralegal Company: Located in West Hartford, CT at a small law firm seeking full-time administrative support for four lawyers. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who is comfortable doing a variety of tasks. Responsibilities: * Paralegal duties including filling out court forms, using court website, filing and serving motions, real estate transactions, corporate filings/maintenance, and short calendar markings.
Administrative/ Office Management including filing, maintaining office calendar, maintaining client database, stocking supplies, assist with other administrative tasks as they come up.
Bookkeeping including payroll, account reconciliation, billing, and accounts payable experience is a plus.
Reception and customer service Skills: * Experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred * Experience with QuickBooks, PC Law, or billing software * Prior experience in a law firm is a plus * Ability to learn new tasks quickly and work with minimal supervision * Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) with high attention to detail.
