Payroll Coordinator

Part-time, Temporary


Currently hiring a Payroll Coordinator to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis.

The position is 18-24 hours per week (must be able to work Monday thru Wednesday).

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, thoughtful individual to join our Human Resources and Accounting/Finance team.

Duties Include:

  • Processing weekly payroll for all employees.
  • Prepare file loads for payroll input of new hires/audit I-9s for accuracy.
  • Monitor a variety of reports to ensure accurate employee time reporting and payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in the Payroll System (Harpers Payroll Services).
  • Enter, edit, update and correct employee data for employees submitted on Status Change Forms.
  • Create adjustments to pay as needed.
  • Audit, calculate and create manual checks as needed.
  • Collect timesheets and weekly review of point-of-sale (POS) reports.
  • Communicate with location managers with questions on "red flags".

Basic Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated and pays great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel; possesses solid computer skills.
  • Previous payroll and analytical experience.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Restaurant experience preferred.
