Immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist - Full-Time

  • Responsible for weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing utilizing ADP WorkForce.
  • Maintain standing data elements for associates in system.
  • Process payroll adjustments.
  • Sort and distribute payroll checks and stubs.
  • Prepare or maintain various compensation files, such as vacation and PTO banks.
  • Responsible for Health Benefits including Open Enrollment, administration and new hire enrollment.
  • Onboards all new hires including finalizing clearance of preemployment screenings and document completion.
  • New Hire Orientation process including scheduling, updating content to align with internal policies and procedures and facilitating all sessions.
  • Assists in managing job postings for all open positions using the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Runs and analyzes reports regarding employee information using various data sources.
  • Manages the current filing system and ensures all necessary documents are accounted for, up-to-date, in the appropriate locations, and audited.
  • Maintains a continuous improvement mindset to drive, monitor, and course-correct owned/co-owned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


  • Minimum 2 Years work related experience in payroll required.
  • Must have experience with ADP Workforce
  • Proficiency in Excel required.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles and procedures relative to recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and information systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Office, managing files and records, and other office procedures. Advanced excel skills are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates degree is a must have.
