Job Description
Our client has a career opportunity for a Payroll Specialist at their headquarters in Minneapolis, MN!
This individual will coordinate, administer, and perform payroll and benefit functions related to all company employees for the weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles. Specific duties to include: set up and modify HRIS master file, process our system payroll cycle, process travel per diem payments, assist with the labor-billing process, review and process payroll source documents, assist with planning and implementation of payroll system upgrades, and maintain all electronic HR/payroll files.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience with payroll processing, preferably in a team environment, and knowledge of multi-state payroll and ERP systems. An associate's degree in Accounting or related field is required, and FPP or CPP designation is desired. Very strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, establish working relationships, and handle highly confidentially financial information would be successful traits of this candidate.
