Job Description

Primary Responsibilities of a Purchasing Specialist
- Provide customer service to internal departments, while fulfilling the procurement, purchasing and auditing process;
- Large-scale purchasing methods, procedures, contracts, research methods and techniques;
- Maintain ERP database management;
- Provide accurate production of standardization of costs;
- Identify Purchase Orders, RFP's and new suppliers for providing solutions to minimize costs for the departments.

Highly Sought after Skills for a Buyer, include:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2 plus years of experience in purchasing within healthcare environment;
- High aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Ability to multitask in an ever-changing and booming startup;
- Experience with ERP software systems.
