Job Description


SNI Accounting Now is seeking to hire on a Payroll Specialist to join our clients team! The Payroll Specialist will provide support to the HR Team, Finance, and corporate HR including; payroll processing and other Accounting functionalities.
Job Functions

  • The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting Accounting
  • Provide reports and clerical support to the Finance team and Managers
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Anticipate legislation, enforce adherence of requirements, and advise management
  • Responsible for the accurate processing of assigned payroll and bonus payrolls
  • Perform monthly and periodic reconciliations
  • Analyze monthly labor and temporary labor costs
  • Recommend entries as required.
  • Participate in yearly budget.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Perform periodic audits of data entered into ADP system
  • Run assigned payroll reports and audit and correct any errors or discrepancies.
  • Assist employees with payroll & policy questions
  • Maintain confidential files of all employee records.
  • Show leadership in accounting, and other requests of on-demand


QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Experience * 5+years of professional payroll processing experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ADP a plus.
  • Knowledge of applicable state, federal, local employment labor laws and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented with effective time management skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
