Job Description

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative accounting support for the branch office, allowing the Branch Manager and staff to focus their efforts on generating business by providing professional financial services to customers specific to the purchasing or refinancing of a residential real estate property. Our Accountants are responsible for upholding our commitment to our borrowers, maintaining a high standard in customer service and professional ethics. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Daily Duties
* Maintaining revenue reports
* Monitoring general ledger activity
* Reconciling revenue reports to General Ledger and proposing correcting entries with corporate accounting department
* Responsible for tracking and handling branch expenses
* Maintaining strong/ongoing communication with corporate accounting department
* May be asked to order supplies, marketing materials, etc.
* Special projects as dictated by management

Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
* Must work well with others and thrive in a team oriented environment
* Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
* A thorough understanding of the limitations of the position

Education, Training & Experience
* Bachelors in Accounting preferred
* Accounting related work experience preferred
* Any mortgage/real estate related experience would be a plus
