Payroll Specialist

Up to $15/hour!

One of my favorite clients is currently seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist for a 6-9 month assignment to work a schedule of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes Monday - Friday 8:30 AM -5:00 PM.

The major responsibilities of this position will be to provide support in all areas of the Human Resources Department pertaining to payroll. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparation and execution of biweekly payroll
  • Assist with timecard administration including timecard review, reporting, and corrections
  • Processing new hires and terminations
  • Ad hoc payroll processing including tax and direct deposit changes
  • Respond professionally and timely to incoming phone calls, emails and/or faxes.


  • 2-4 years of experience in payroll administration preferred
  • Qualified candidates must have strong verbal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
  • Proficient computer skills are critical, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with ADP and/or Oracle is a plus
  • The individual applying for this position must be able to work in a multi task environment and understand the confidential nature of the department's purpose in the Bank.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
