Job Description

Vice President of Wealth Services

The VP of Wealth Services will collaborate with High Net worth Clients in every aspect of their lives. They will also work in partnership with Portfolio Executives, and Centers of Influence in our shared goal of providing top-notch service to our clients. This candidate will represent the firm in a professional, timely and thoughtful manner and will have knowledge of personal taxes including experience with complex trust and estate planning. We seek a conscientious team player with superior knowledge and judgement, empathy and determination, who will be a contributor to an entrepreneurial culture.

Principal Responsibilities:

* Conceptualize and create sophisticated financial and estate planning analyses as needed to assist clients who have complex family relationships.

* Participate in client meetings to support Senior Relationship Managers.

* Serve as a point of contact for clients' outside tax, insurance, and estate planning advisors.

* Serve as a senior member of the firm's client service team to assure delivery of highest quality and timely service to the firm's HNW clients.

* Engage and participate in high-end client servicing including life planning and bill paying.

* Work with Client Service Associates on client engagements and assist with the preparation of client reports and analyses as needed.

* Utilize all systems to perform job responsibilities including but not limited to WealthScape, E*TRADE, Quicken, Practice Management, Schwab, Orion, Money Guide Pro, eMoney and Salesforce.


* 10+ years of relevant family office experience

* Life experience with elder care and high net worth individuals

* Excellent listening skills and self-confidence

* Occasional travel is required

* CPA, CFP or JD is desired

* Financial Planning software experience

* Experience working with RIAs

* Excellent customer service, communication, writing and interpersonal skills

* Strong computer skills specifically in MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

* Excellent people skills and work ethic

* Excellent judgment and decision making skills

* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

* Up-to-date on current events and a curiosity about the industry and wealth management
