Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting monthly and annual financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage general ledger and close processes (monthly/quarterly/year-end)
• Oversee AP/AR operations and account reconciliations
• Assist with tax planning and audit preparation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Generate financial reports using Excel and other tools
• Implement internal controls and document procedures
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
