Jr. Accountant/Full Cycle Bookkeeper in Lake Worth, FL at Accounting Now

Job Description

SNI is looking for a Jr. Accountant for a contract role in West Palm Beach. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Reconciliations, and Excel.

• Full Charge General Ledger and lead on monthly closing process
• Bank account reconciliation
• Ensure that the appropriate documentation/data entry and authorizations exist before entering transactions into the system
• Assist with special projects as requested
• Setup and maintain vendor and client accounts

Qualifications and Skills

• Attention to detail, reliable and consistent work ethic
• Strong general ledger/reconciliations background
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks to meet deadlines timely
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
• Two to four years of experience
