Immediate opening for a Payroll/Purchasing Assistant in the Amherst area!
Job title: Payroll Specialist

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
-Experience with AP/AR
-Direct Deposit Returns (process payments)
-Calculate over payments
-Off Cycle checks (audit, print shipping requests)
-Research and answer payroll related questions in our internal ticketing system
-Research and key benefit premium issues
-Process unemployment files (monthly)
-Scan tax notices
-Research variances on our quarterly tax files
-Misc administrative work as needed
-Purchasing/accounts payable department.
-Handling the purchasing card system/reconciliations, customer service and filing.

Minimum Education Required:
-High School Diploma

Other Required Experience/Qualifications:
- 1 year Payroll Processing experience

Additional Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
-Payroll Tax experience
